June 21-25 - applicants have had no on-the-water training in the sport. This application type would include those with only erg training.
June 28-30 - applicants have completed at least one full season (spring, summer, or fall) of on-the-water rowing/coxing at a school or club prior to the start of camp. If you have only completed one or more Learn-to-Row camp/clinic, prior approval via email from our camp directors is required for application to this week of camp (currently, only our 5-Day Developmental Camp is accepting applications with this experience level).
*** June 28-30 is currently full for coxswains, but accepting applications for the wait list. Rower spots still open!***
July 19-23 - applicants have completed at least one full season (spring, summer, or fall) of on-the-water rowing/coxing at a school or club prior to the start of camp OR have completed one or more Learn-to-Row camps/clinics but have not had a full season of on-the-water rowing yet.
***July 19-23 is currently full for coxswains and rowers with at least one full season, but accepting applications for the wait list. A very small number of spots are open for rowers who have only completed camps/clinics***
If you are uncertain of which application type to choose, please email our Camp Directors for guidance on which week of camp would be the best fit for you.
Camp tuition for all weeks includes coaching from our Navy Rowing Staff, supervision, Navy Rowing Camp t-shirt, & daily snacks. For the 3-Day Developmental Camp, Tuesday and Wednesday lunches are also included (for both 5-day camps, campers are expected to bring their own lunch).
DISCLAIMER: at this time, we do not know how COVID-19 and the switch to day camps may impact our registration numbers. If we do not meet the minimum needed campers to fill boats, it is possible that we would need to merge with our Navy Boys' Crew Camp (which is running the same weeks and times) to be able to provide our full advertised camper experience. We will be constantly assessing our registration numbers and will notify all applicable registrants prior to the start of camp if we need to make this change.
To secure your spot for camp, please complete our 2-step registration process:
1. Complete your application below. As the application collects camper biographical information as well as rowing history, we do advise parents and campers to complete this together to provide the most accurate information.
2. After submitting your application, please go to our payment page to submit your registration fee. Note: if you are an experienced coxswain applicant, we ask that you wait on paying until you receive confirmation from us that we have a seat for you as we are not able to refund the $15 credit card fee. Coxswain applicants will be contacted by us via email within one business day.
